Popped into Ely with my wife and son on way home from Parents. Chose this attractive looking hotel/restaurant. Decent menu for a broad range of tastes. Staff were friendly and food was appetising. Would thoroughly recommend for the food and drink. May choose to stay at the hotel next time we a are in the area.
We popped in here for breakfast which is served till noon. Staff were friendly and polite. Breakfast was nice and good value bit were were missing black pudding and toast on the plate but once asked the staff brought them out. Definitely recommend popping in for a drink or meal. The decor was nice and gave you that pub like feel. Nice and central if you wanted to stay in Ely.

Just so long as you remember that it's a motel not a hotel you will be fine. Clean and tidy with very friendly and helpful staff. There is no pub/bar or restaurant attached. Just a room with a bed and bathroom. Very impressed by the friendly staff.
Very clean, comfortable beds and not an overlong stroll into Ely. All on one level which is a plus for some. Friendly staff. The reason for just four stars is no drawers to put underwear and personal things in. Also had to ask for hairdryer every time I needed one. No mat in the bath and was very slippy I slipped and bruised my leg. But very reasonable and worth the money.

Novel place to stay - it is a boat! We were made very welcome. Outside it is a hundred+ year old Dutch river barge. Inside it's a modern adaptation to comfortable, space efficient hotel accomodation. Really enjoyed our stay and breakfast, thank you.
Unique hotel experience. Fantastic breakfast. I will revisit

Open so early. It's 8:30 on a Sunday and there's a couple already with tea. Banging. Finding a pub that's not open is a crime. Foods good to boot! Free tea/coffee with breakfast so no complaints. Nice looking selection of ales too so I know I'll be back some evening soon! 😂
Friendly staff and good service. Nicely decorated pub and nice outside seating. The food is basic and really more effort could be made with presentation and better ingredients. More work on the food and this will be a great pub.

The Minster Tavern is literally one minutes walk from one of the most impressive historical building in England, Ely Cathedral. Prices are not over inflated, the staff are super friendly and local beers are plentiful and well kept. My pint of Cornish Tribute was lovely. The atmosphere was local and friendly. Dog friendly, the water bowls and treats were a lovely dog welcome. Fantastic Ely pub.
Went there for a pub quiz organized by the pub and thoroughly enjoyed it. It have good collection of taps both locally brewed and branded drinks. The inside of cast but with plenty of seats and space. The staff is lovely with great service. Overall highly recommended for a good pint

Charming house and hosts. Spent a glorious 3 nights.
I stayed with a group of friends in the self-catering Coach House. It is full of character, with an amazing collection of good books, pictures, antiques and historic artefacts. The garden is delightful. The location is superb; Ely is such an interesting city and the cathedral is spectacular. There are excellent restaurants, cafes, pubs and shops within easy walking distance. Jenny and Robin, the owners, are charming and helpful. All in all, a magical place to stay - and very English.

Good, inexpensive place to stay for a couple of nights bed and breakfast. Only a stones throw from the city centre. Helpful, friendly staff. Nice grounds with views of the golf course and excellent view of the Cathedral. Set in a nice, quiet area, just off the A10.
A charming hotel providing everything we needed. Our rooms were spotlessly clean and comfortable and warm Breakfasts and evening meals were excellent. The owner and staff were welcoming and helpful.

If you would like something truly different you might like to have a look at Airbnb. These are mostly B and Bs provided by people on a very informal basis. The may have a spare room, a yurt, a cottage or a barge with space they can receive guests for a night or a month! The website is highly professional. You can really see what you are going to get. Very well worth a look. Airbnb also show 'conventional' B&Bs as well. Enjoy!
